The official rules are the Terms & Rules. Anything banned there can be punished even if it isn't mentioned here. Please read the full Terms & Rules before you join.

01Don't cheat

  • No cheat mods such as X-Ray, Freecam, hacked clients or Baritone (2.1)
  • No macros, auto-clickers or AFK farming setups (2.2)
  • If you find a bug or dupe, don't use it — report it (2.3)
  • Only one account online per connection at a time, and no VPNs (2.5, 2.6)

Allowed mods

Performance mods, shaders, minimaps, inventory sorting, input/IME mods and Simple Voice Chat are fine (2.1).

02Be nice in chat and voice

  • No abuse, discrimination, harassment or stalking (3.1)
  • No spam, flooding or advertising other servers (3.2, 3.3)
  • No inappropriate names, skins, signs, town names and so on (3.4)
  • Don't impersonate staff or other players (3.5)
  • Don't share other people's personal information or private messages (3.6)
  • No loud noise in voice chat, and don't record or publish others without permission (Chapter 4)

03Respect other people's builds and land

  • Don't break others' builds, place blocks on their land, or kill their pets and villagers (5.1)
  • Don't take items from others' chests — even when trusted, don't take more than allowed (5.2)
  • No lava casts or other things that seriously spoil the scenery (5.3)
  • Ask staff before building large contraptions that could cause lag (5.4)

04Towns and nations

  • Don't box in other towns with your land or claim just to block them (6.2)
  • Mayors and kings must not use ranks, jail or taxes to harass people (6.3)
  • Give kicked residents time to collect their items (6.3)
  • Even within the same town, don't attack or take from others without consent (6.5)

05Money and trading

  • No buying or selling in-game items or money for real money (RMT) (7.1)
  • No scams. Trading via /trade, shops, auctions and buy orders is safe (7.2)
  • No shill bidding or bid-rigging on the auction house (7.3)
  • No staged bounty claims (7.4)
  • Don't copy and sell other people's map art (7.6)

06PvP

  • Don't kill players with PvP off using lava, fall damage or traps (8.2)
  • Don't log out during combat (20 seconds) — you'll die on the spot (8.3)
  • No spawn camping (8.4)
  • Don't lure people into traps with /tpa or /tpahere (8.5)

07Good to know

  • Deaths and losses while PvP is on are not compensated (8.1, 9.4)
  • Typos in payments, shops, the trash and so on aren't compensated — check confirmation screens (7.7)
  • Changing terrain is fine — cut mountains, dig, chop trees, break villages and ruins — just not on or near others' land or builds (5.3)
  • Staff investigate and act on griefing and theft (5.1, 9.2)
  • Items lost to lag may be restored from backups (9.1)
  • After 60 days offline, mayors and kings are replaced automatically and your shops, money and other data are deleted (6.6)

08What happens if you break the rules?

  • Punishments include warnings, chat mutes, voice chat mutes, kicks, temporary bans and permanent bans (10.1)
  • Warnings expire after 30 days; 5 active warnings means a 30-day ban (Chapter 10)
  • Cheat mods, duping, attacking the server, serious griefing, ban evasion and RMT mean an immediate permanent ban (10.2)
  • Check your warnings with /warn and your history with /punishment
